ISS-Corporate Named “Best Second Party Opinion Provider” in 2026 GlobalCapital Covered Bond Awards

LONDON (28 September 2026) – ISS-Corporate, a leading provider of robust SaaS and expert advisory services to companies globally, today announced that it was named “Best Second Party Opinion Provider” in the 2026 GlobalCapital Covered Bond Awards. The recognition was announced at a ceremony in Seville on 24 September 2026. This latest award builds on ISS-Corporate’s recognition in June as Best Second Party Opinion Provider for FIG ESG Bonds at the 2026 GlobalCapital Bond Awards.

The GlobalCapital Bond Awards recognize the leading banks, issuers, deals and other market participants for achievement in the covered bonds market. Winners are both nominated and voted on by fellow participants in the covered bonds market, making the award a recognition by and for the market.

“We are honoured to be recognised as Best Second Party Opinion Provider in the GlobalCapital Covered Bond Awards for the second consecutive year,” said Reinhilde Weidacher, Head of Corporate Sustainability Services at ISS-Corporate. “Covered bonds play a vital role in sustainable finance by directing capital towards environmental objectives at scale while providing investors with a resilient, high-quality asset class. As expectations for transparency and credibility continue to rise, independent second party opinions are essential to maintaining market confidence. We remain committed to delivering rigorous, unbiased assessments that support the continued growth and integrity of the sustainable covered bond market.”
